New year, new adventures

Did I... Did I get the new year art done the first day for two years straight? How?
I even thought to myself I didn't mind if I got it late this year, I'm not sure how this happened, oh well...

2017 is gone, and boy, let me tell ya, this year was....

.....

Meh?

I don't know, it was ok for the most part, it had its ups and downs at moments (One particular big down around the beginning, actually) but for the most part... Eh...

But hey, the year wasn't completely forgettable, how can I not talk about that one big thing? Destined Flames, the comic, I finished it!! It was a two and a half year long project and I'm glad I could've gone through with it, I know I didn't get many reads, but even then, I'm glad I got to make it and I'm glad that there were some of you there to read it!!

So, with that in mind, I made this piece, since Destined Flames wasn't the first comic I finished but the second! That... Still feels bizarre to think about... I didn't finish one comic, I finished two...
Anyway, with that in mind, I represented both main characters of each comic on top of their own pedestal, and a third character who's adventure is yet to begin.

So, resolutions, well, that's one thing 2017 was great about, my resolution was precisely to finish the comic! So that's one victory!
I also at the beginning of December decided that making a storyboard before the year ended would suddenly be another 2017 resolution... I did that too, so hey, here you see a fella that actually accomplishes his resolutions!!
So what about this year?

Well, I'm not sure if I'll add more, but for now, the ones that concern you guys are these:

-Practicing and getting better at animation
-Keep working on my short
-conquer china

And that's about it! There's some more stuff I already know I'll do, like flying over to Wales to study for 6 months, gee, that one has me nervous.
